JoyPass is a visual reminder tool, not a payment processor. While you can display a dollar amount on a pass (e.g., "$50 for Dinner"), we do not handle real money. It acts as a beautiful "contract" between friends to help you keep track of what you owe each other. Settlement of the IOU is handled privately between you and your friend.
Yes! You can bundle multiple JoyPasses into a single gift link. This is perfect for creating digital "coupon books" for occasions like Mother's Day, Father's Day, or anniversaries. Each pass can have its own unique title, value, and redemption count.
Yes! When creating a JoyPass, you can choose from beautiful gradient themes, add a custom logo URL, customize the label/provider name, and personalize the gift title. The live preview shows exactly how your pass will look in Apple Wallet.
JoyPass is a visual contract. When a recipient is ready to "collect" on an IOU, they can open the pass in their Apple Wallet and tap the redemption button. This notifies the sender that the favor has been used, helping both parties stay on the same page about their shared promises.
Once all uses are redeemed, the JoyPass status automatically updates to "Fully Redeemed." Recipients can keep it in their Wallet as a digital keepsake of your thoughtful gift, or they can remove it manually if they prefer.
Yes! In your dashboard's "Activity" tab, you can see all the gifts you've sent and their current status—whether they're awaiting pickup, have been accepted, or have been redeemed. You'll see real-time updates as recipients interact with your gifts.
No! Recipients don't need a JoyPass account to receive and use gifts. They simply tap the link you send them and add the pass to their Apple Wallet. Only gift creators need an account to design and send JoyPasses.

Log in to your dashboard and navigate to the "Settings" tab. From there, you can update your profile information, change your password, and manage your account preferences.
Make sure the recipient is using an iPhone with iOS 15 or later. If they're on Android or another device, they won't be able to add passes to Apple Wallet. Also ensure they're tapping the link directly (not copying and pasting) and have a stable internet connection.
Currently, JoyPasses cannot be edited after creation to maintain the integrity of the gift. If you need to make changes, please contact our support team and we'll help you resolve the issue.
If you created the gift, log in to your dashboard and check the "Activity" tab to find all your sent gifts and their codes. If you received a gift and lost the code, you'll need to ask the sender to resend the link.
