By using JoyPass, you're agreeing to our terms. We keep it simple because we want you to focus on the giving, not the fine print.

Using JoyPass

JoyPass is a platform for sending digital gifts. You agree to use the service for its intended purpose: sharing joy. Any misuse, including fraud or harassment, will result in account termination.

Tracking IOUs

Passes created on JoyPass are digital reminders and may be redeemed according to the informal agreement between the sender and recipient. JoyPass provides the technology to visualize and track these promises but is NOT responsible for the actual fulfillment, payment, or settlement of any favor or monetary IOU.

IOU Tracker Disclaimer

JoyPass is a visual reminder tool and IOU tracker. By using JoyPass, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • JoyPass is NOT a payment processor. We do not handle, store, or transfer real money or financial assets.
  • Any monetary value displayed on a JoyPass is purely for visual tracking and represents an informal agreement between the sender and recipient.
  • Settlement of all IOUs, favors, and promises is the sole responsibility of the users involved.
  • JoyPass is not liable for any unfulfilled promises or disputes arising from informal agreements tracked on the platform.

Limitation of Liability

We strive for 100% uptime and joy, but we provide the service "as is." JoyPass is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
